Two sides to Mega Advertising
There are two sides to Mega Advertising. One you will know, which is looking after YOU. The other is how we look after our community.
On International Women’s Day, the 8th of March 2016, Phillippa was awarded the National Award of the 50 Women of Achievement in New Zealand.
This award is for women who have worked hard to focus their passion, drive and valued time into pursuing a better place to live.
It isn’t every day our very own Phillippa Jacob’s gets to be on the list of ex NZ Prime Ministers, many Dames, QSM’s and many other outstanding women in our community.
Phillippa has been a member of Zonta since 2007. Holding positions such as President for 2 years at her local Club, 2 years as New Zealand Z Club president and 7 years as the Chair of Z Club (the youth side of Zonta) at Avonside Girls’ High School.
In this time she has helped many charities such as Ronald McDonald House, Cholmondeley Children’s Home, Holly House and many more.
Being Chair of the Z Club committee for the Zonta Club of Christchurch-Canterbury has meant spending most weeks at Avonside Girls’ helping empower them to do amazing things in their community by service and fundraising.
“The Z Club girls inspire me to do this…I see the difference we make in the girls, I see the difference they make to our community.
It is truely so special to be able to guide these girls as well as other service I do in the community; NZ Business Mentor, Chair of Business Chicks Canterbury, Chair of Business Brains, Yoobee School of Design Industries Board etc!”
And then…incase that was not enough. Phillippa also recieved the certificate for Zonta International Rose Day in recognition to all she does for Z Club/Zonta form her sister Club Waimakariri – so humbling to get not one but two awards.
